Residency Details

* Length: 1–8 weeks
* Residency Dates: Open year-round
* Residency Fee: Waived for selected applicants (includes housing & studio)
* Living cost is about $400 for 4 weeks (self-funded for groceries, daily supplies, meals)
* Application Fee: $150 USD (non-refundable)
* Travel, personal expenses, and optional services are self-paid.

Housing & Studio

* Shared apartment with furnished rooms & kitchen
* Discipline-based studio space with AC
* Nearby groceries, markets, cafes, and workshops
* Apply early to secure preferred accommodation.

Eligibility

Open to visual arts students aged 18+ who are:
* Enrolled in or recently graduated from an art college
* Specializing in ceramics, painting, sculpture, photography, or new media
* Able to cover roundtrip travel & daily expenses
* Comfortable communicating in English
* Ready to share their creative process on social media
* Participants are required to prepare a minimum of $1,000 USD to cover essential travel and living expenses during the program in Jingdezhen.
