Jingdezhen Artists-in-Residence Program

Welcome to our Artists-in-Residence Program in Jingdezhen, China! Located in the heart of the world’s porcelain capital, our program offers a creative space for both emerging and established visual artists. The residency fosters intellectual and professional growth, providing a chance to focus on art-making free from everyday pressures. Artists can pursue interdisciplinary projects, receive feedback from prominent visiting artists and critics, and explore new ideas in a community of creatives.

The residency is designed to support artistic development by providing time and space for risk-taking and the pursuit of new projects. Residents are offered housing, studio space, meals, and a variety of community engagement opportunities. We encourage artists to experiment in ceramics, photography, new media, ceramic painting, and sculpture. Applications are open year-round to global artists.
