Fluency in English is required for teaching, as our classes cater to both Chinese and international students. While Chinese students may use English for basic communication, we provide bilingual Chinese teaching assistants to assist with complex terminology and translations during class.

Teachers choose their session length within the summer camp period (June 5 – Sept. 5, 2025). A typical session lasts 10-15 days, with 6 days of classes and optional ceramic tours for the rest.

Teachers work independently, creating their own schedules, class content, and activities. Ceramic tours are optional.

Teachers collaborate with ChineseSources.org for student recruitment, including social media promotions and live streams on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

Teens must attend with parents or teachers
Adults 18+ can join independently
No experience required; teachers decide their target audience and participates

Jingdezhen is a small city, so accommodations are within walking distance of teaching studios.

-Co-host once a week on the ChineseSources.org YouTube channel
-Provide footage for custom promotional videos
-Some teachers can apply for a free 30-day stay with provided housing, workspace, and meals if they choose to come to Jingdezhen one month before the class starts.

This program works like a joint venture, with teachers setting their own tuition rates. Example rates:
6-day course: $1400 USD per person
12-day course: $2400 USD per person
Deductions: 12.5% tax
Minimum participants: 5

Furnished apartment (private bath) and meals:
$450 for 15 days

Teachers cover their flights to Jingdezhen
Free airport/rail pickup
We assist with travel visas for long-term stays but not work visas

ChineseSources.org can help independent teachers find other jobs in local studios but prefers long-term collaboration. Most local studios focus on Chinese students and may not offer the same support system as we do.

Lodging Options: Available from June 5, 2025 – September 5, 2025. Accommodations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Early reservations increase your chances of securing your preferred option. ChineseSources.Org offers both private rooms with private baths and private rooms with shared baths for the summer camp of 2025. For the safety and convenience of our participants, ChineseSources.Org provides easily accessible apartments within walking distance, assigned according to the ages of students attending the workshops.
