Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Shanghai Pudong International Airport is located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, China, about 30 kilometers from the downtown of Shanghai. It is a 4F level civil airport. It is one of China’s three gateway composite hubs, a member of the Yangtze River Delta International Air Freight Hub Group, a member of the East China Airport Group, and the largest hub airport and portal airport in East China. Shanghai Pudong International Airport was completed in 1999. The first phase of the project was completed and opened to the public in 1999. The second runway was officially opened in 2005.

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is located at the junction of Changning District and Minhang District, west of Shanghai, China. It is 13 kilometers away from the downtown. It is a Class 4E civil international airport. It is one of China’s three major portal composite hubs, an international flight airport. Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport was built in 1921 and rebuilt in 1950; It was changed from military civilian shared airport to civil airport in 1971; Terminal 2 and runway 2 are put into operation in 2010; In the end of 2014, the reconstruction of Terminal 1 and the East Transport Center project were completed.

Shanghai Airport Entry Regulations for Covid prevention and control

The Shanghai Office announced that, in order to further improve the prevention and control of COVID-19 in Shanghai, from June 30, 2022, the control method for the international entry travelers are adjusted as follows: All international passengers will be implemented 7 days of centralized isolation under medical observation, plus 3 days of home-stay self-monitoring. If the travelers will go to their final destinations in areas of the Yangtze River Delta. There will continue to carry on implementation.  For the people of direct tight contacting, there requires 7-day home isolated medical observation.
 
Latest requirements for all in-and-out passengers at Shanghai Airports:
All passengers are required to show negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours or nucleic acid sampling certificate within 24 hours. All personnel entering the two Shanghai airports terminals must wear masks and accept infrared non inductive temperature measurement.
